Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP)

786-530-5410

Empowering Change Through Accountability, Respect, and Growth

At Arise Coaching and Therapeutic Services (ACTS), we believe that true change begins with accountability and the courage to confront harmful behaviors. Our Department of Children and Families (DCF)-Certified Batterer’s Intervention Program (BIP) provides structured, evidence-based treatment for individuals who have engaged in abusive or controlling behavior in intimate relationships.

The BIP program is designed to promote safety, responsibility, and long-term behavioral change by helping participants understand the roots of violence, develop empathy, and learn healthy relationship skills.

Who We Serve

Our program offers services for both men and women in English and Spanish, ensuring that every participant receives culturally responsive and linguistically accessible care.

We welcome referrals from the Department of Corrections, Department of Children and Families, courts, probation officers, attorneys, and self-referrals seeking personal growth and change.

Program Overview

Our Batterer’s Intervention Program follows the Florida DCF standards (Chapter 65H-2) and emphasizes a non-judgmental, educational, and therapeutic approach. Participants explore topics such as:

  • Understanding power and control dynamics

  • Recognizing the impact of abuse on partners, children, and families

  • Developing emotional regulation and conflict resolution skills

  • Challenging beliefs that support abusive behavior

  • Learning strategies for healthy communication and mutual respect

Group sessions provide a supportive and structured environment that encourages honesty, reflection, and accountability.
